Viscose was invented in France and then patented in the UK at the beginning of the 20th century. Its yarn comes from a particular process of cellulose that makes viscose beautiful, shiny and very similar to silk. Viscose fabrics, thanks to their soft draping and fluidity, can be considered a good alternative to the more expensive silk.
Particularly soft and warm 100% viscose twill fabric with Viyella effect. It was a very fashionable fabric from the late 1800s to the 60s of the last century.
