Jersey

Jersey takes its name from the island of Jersey in the UK, where it was worn by fishermen to make soft and stretchy sweaters and other knitted garments. It was Coco Chanel who started to use this knitted fabric in the 20s and 30s to create garments combining elegance, comfort and style that changed the way of dressing women and fashion forever.
In her own words she declared: "I created a style where women can live, breath and feel younger".
