Have you ever thought about what happens to those fabric cuts that are too small to be used?

It is natural to "produce" fabric scraps: tailors cut the pieces needed to sew their projects and the remaining fabric is redundant.
Even in our warehouse it happens that we have fabric remnants that are inadequate in size to make clothes but still of excellent quality.
To avoid defects on the cuts or because it is part of samples, we slowly accumulate kilos of small material destined for the landfill. Just think that only about 30 percent of textile waste is properly recycled annually!

We at Tosca decide not to take part in this process: we have kept the waste with the intention of giving it back value and a new life.

We asked Anna, our trusted seamstress, to make clutch bags for us by reusing the leftover fabrics in our warehouse.
Thus Toschine were born: pochettes made from quality fabrics suitable for use both as handbags and as beauty cases to keep in our handbags.

We hope to build a community around us that appreciates and values what they buy and wear, that believes in sustainable and emotional fashion.
