Pinstripe Chambray made of 60% linen and 40% cotton.
It is a fabric made in plain weave, composed of colored threads in warp and white threads in weft so, thanks to this technique, a "melange" effect is achieved.
Its name comes from the French city of Chambray where it was originally produced; its production was limited purely to dark shades, directed for use in work uniforms, so that the dark colors could easily disguise dirt and stains.
This pinstripe fabric gives a simple but finished, cool and pleasant allure, with a malleable drape and no stretch.
You can make summer-ready pieces like swimwear cover-ups and airy trapeze dresses that take advantage of linen’s amazing breathability, or craft shirts and blouses to be worn year-round!
