Mohair is a precious textile fiber obtained from the hair of Angora goats, whose name comes from the capital of Turkey, where these goats have been bred for 2000 years.
The mohair yarns are very shiny, even, clean, and ultimately they are distinguished by the absence of impurities. Furthermore, the yarns obtained from Angora goats are particularly long: they grow 2 cm per month and in a year they reach 30 cm in length, giving the yarn an incredible elasticity and crease resistance.
